Second generation Flip camcorder MinoHD, 120 minutes (metal polish) new model http://www.amazon.com/dp/B002R5AM7C?tag=dcmb-20 REVIEW: The Flip Camcorder MinoHD is amazing – perfect for any family hoping to film the children, friends, events, etc. First, completely idiot proof: when you get table, there is absolutely no assembly required. About your first attempt, the buttons are the power switch, record button and the USB connector output be correct; great intuitive design. The device looks and feels great (as mentioned by other commentators) and fits easily in your hand comfortably for long periods of time (unlike my BlackBerry). Come and off instantly (unlike my home computer or cell phone), so no waiting time to start to record that fleeting moment precious. The screen is slightly larger than the previous Flip Mino, but not a big problem. The image quality is better than ever, and not too fragile / inflatable. The USB connector is substantially the same – always handy, easy to connect, and you do not have to run to find a USB connector (like my digital camera old). The audio is surprisingly good, picking up background sounds weak that I had not noticed at the time of registration and collection of music and voice at the same time, some by far the best quality. The battery life of 2 hours is more than what I've used, so it's great, but I imagine the people who Video recording is complete concert or watching grass grow might complain. Honestly I have not used HD resolution, but I'm sure it will be fantastic when I start making my own shows jungle nature. Meanwhile, the HD quality is better than anything you ever need. By the way, I know that others Commentators have said that you can freeze the camera to zoom in or out during recording but the Mine works fine, even when I do that. (I tried it freezes but failed.) I saved the best for last: Flip Video software. This makes it even more impressive! It is ridiculously easy to install, start automatically when I connect to the camera, and frames made quite obvious how to upload videos, reading, freeze to take pictures and share. And it's fast – not much waiting for videos load (like other video players). Everything is in one easy to use, well organized design (by date video) very similar to the iPod control panel (an common comparison, it seems). I wish all software was so easy to use.
