how do i get my video from my sony video camera onto the computer?

its a sony and it has a little tape in it….its also a touch screen. i have a usb cord and i hooked it up but all that comes up is where i can get to the pictures and not the videos.

You need a firewire connection. Don’t worry if your pc hasn’t got a firewire card, they’re cheap and easy to install.
