Best video camera for $3,000 to $4,000?

The company I work for is going to buy me a new video camera so I can shoot and edit (computer based programs) films dealing with manufacturing.
Which brands/models are the best in this price range ( 3-4K)?

I have a Canon XH A1 that I like quite well. It’s not a shoulder mount, (you can buy that accessory) but it is imaged stablized. And it’s in your price range. You might also consider a “Wide Converter WD-72″ if you have limited room to shoot.

The somewhat older, XL2, it’s a shoulder model.
