Security Camera Mysteries: 1080I What it means?

Given the nature of video today, it is not surprising that more security cameras and kits that come with moving to high definition televisions as the progression to high definition for several years.

These new security systems – Like television – are now capable of handling both 720p and 1080i, which is the standard high definition video.

Basically, "1080" refers to the number of horizontal scan lines which video device can display.

This is a huge increase over video monitors standard definition television and could at most, the display of 420 horizontal scan lines and the low refresh rate.

The "I" in 1080i stands for "interlaced". Interlaced is defined as a process in which the frames are blended to try a softer and less flicker.

Most kits security camera video was produced in both 720p or 1080i. 720P, if not understood by now, means 720 lines of horizontal scanning, while the "p" stands for "progressive."

Sometimes it might mean "non-interlaced. 720p is excellent for removing the flicker, which normally is a problem when dealing with horizontal scan lines, the lowest in the scale (1080 to 720 420) are obtained.

Because 720 is much to stop flicker, the image resolution that can actually approach the 1080i, the true standard high definition video (1080p true high definition televisions).
