How do I do maintenance on a Linksys Wireless video Camera?

I have a Linksys Wireless Internet Video camera and it’s used only for security reasons.
I need to know how to do maintenance so that it will work faster.

Do you have the WVC54GC camera? I have one on my network also. There’s nothing you can do to it in terms of maintenance to make it work faster and there are no user-servicable or adjustable parts inside the unit. For connection speed, it’s connected using wireless G right? If you run your router or access point in “G only” mode, that will perform better than in “mixed” mode. This is one possible adjustment that could improve things for you. But if you have wireless stations that can only use the older 802.11b standard you’d need to stay in mixed mode.
