An easy way to make visual effect using only my camera?

Hey, I'm taking a video production class in high school and I need a simple idea to make a visual effect editing without using computer. So something along the lines of putting a piece Tinted front of the camera a filter, cut two holes in a piece of paper and put in front of the camera to make it look like binoculars, etc. .. not that I can not use because the teacher gave these examples. And I would also appreciate if this was not lame. = D Many thanks!

Try playing with perspective, to handle something in the different levels of perception deep focus. Put someone in front of "North" and a few feet away near the camera in front of another person "South", do not face each other but the camera angles that look like this. After a few seconds of conversation to change the position of the camera (still rolling) to reveal the difference. Even better, have more than 2 people in the shootout, giving the closest to the camera, but off-shoot, the other side of the person outside the aircraft and the nearest hidden by the person to the camera, then open fire (zoom out) and move toward the center a bit to reveal the actor has been removed and hidden by the talent the nearest camera. Example: ————- (bb )—– ———- ———- d (d) – - ——————- X (camera)
