video camera flash memory
going to work at a cam site & the site say its Ideal to use a mini DV why mini DV & not other kind like Flash?
The site say i should use a mini DV. but why dos it need to be a mini DV and not another kind of video Camera like flash memory? i can use a web cam. but i want to use video camera like a mini DV or the other i just want to know why dos it have to be a mini DV? is there some thing about that mini DV that let me use as a web cam, and the other like Flash Memory i can’t? or is it that a mini DV give a better quality of video feed streaming online? all it say in site that i ideally i should use a mini- dv new or used but also say that can use a web cam but i want the best clean and clear and want to be moving in a normal speed like TV. like some i have seen on other site. so any one know why?

Lots to figure out..
I actually work on about 8 cam sites and have 3 cams LOL so there is lots of things to figure out.
This should help I hope..
1. Make sure your cam COMES WITH DRIVERS! with out that you will be spending hours online to figure out if its going to work.
2. Make sure there is a return policy so you can test it out!
3. Test it out on a cam site your working at after youve hooked it up and installed the drivers it should show up in the adobe flash setup that cam sites use normally right clicking will bring up the adobe settings for the site and you can see if the cam is listed there. If it is Success!!
4. My recomendation is ALWAYS use a cam splitting software this helps with a few things you can test the cam without going online and if you work multiple sites like I do the software will split your stream and you can make a lot more!!
5. See if it works on yahoo this is the easiest way! I work on a networked site called www.yahoocamgirl.com and So I needed to make sure my cam works EVERYWHERE lol. so that is why.
