Whats the best (cheapest) professional camera I can get?

I like to make videos. I REALLY do, I jost Bought an iMac with Final Cut for that. But I need a Camera. A professional Video Camera.

The Problem Is: I don’t have enough money. So what the cheapest professional Camera I can get nowadays? SOMETHING AROUND $1200

The one I liked the most right now is the SONY HVR-HD1000 I want something kindalike that. could you send me a link from website that sells those cheap? I like the camera but ist really old for its price.

Or tell me of another model you think its worth taking a look at. What really counts for me is:

-Video Quality (duuhh) (but seriously thats REALLY important AT VERY LEAST 1080i (or p)
-Audio Quality, A Shotgun Mic works for me unless its quite bad
-Something that works in different tipes of illumination
- Easy connection to the computer

and yes, I tried B&H (NOTE: I live in Canada)
