How to fix broken (microwaved) Flip video camera?

So my mate thought it might be funny to microwave a borrowed Flip video camera for a cool shot. He put it on the lowest setting and it was in there for just a second but now it is broken and won’t turn on. Please could someone help, we’re trying to film a school project and it’s the school camera :/
